Make no mistake, this is all about the 1%. A divisive and collaborative effort to separate money from the 99%.
As time goes on, can you visualize what your life will be like if all of the wealth goes to the 1%?
A concentrated amount, stuck at the top with little remaining to be shared by the masses. We are left groveling for the crumbs in public fights as the wealthy view the spectacle.
The remaining masses fighting each other becomes a side-show of entertainment for the 1%, a spectator sport for the elite. Main Stream Media are the cheerleaders in the arena. Allowed to exist by the powers of the controlling 1% to dominate the airwaves with a voice of the ruling class.
The Military Industrial Complex would require more funding, and it would be taken from the 99% — as quoted by Noam Chomsky “sacrifice and discipline” in the United States — in other words, huge military expenditures and cutbacks on social services. It would also be necessary to overcome the “excess of tolerance” that allows too much domestic dissent.
Our voice of dissent is the only power we have left. It is more muted as our power is eroded day after day. We don’t even have a say in what Congress’ super committee is doing that effect all of us. Congress has appointed a few members to oversee at least $1.2 trillion in cuts on the backs of social programs that are already paid for by the taxpayers, yet we have no say in the matter. How is this a democracy?
Balanced?… I think not.
Again, the 1% is taking all they can to the top.
